He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Forajter and Ksawera Forajter; his son Michael J. Forajter; and his brother Walter Forayter. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Forajter (Kawka); his sons, Joseph Forajter, Jr. and Thomas Forajter Sr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Thomas Forajter Jr. (Amanda), Meghan Jo, Kevin Forajter (Allison), Joseph M. Forajter and Tyler Forajter; and his sister-in-law Barbara Forayter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
