He was predeceased by: his mother Maria. He is survived by: his friend Roberto; his wife Antonia; his children, Francisca Benavidez (Pablo), Maria, Sylvia Vigil, Elizabeth Torres-Billings (Terrance), Hector Torres (Heather), Veronica Hansen (Brian) and Roberto Torres Jr.; his grandchildren, Celia, Ruben, Pablo Jr., Crystal, Eric, Fidencio, Jaime Jr., Thalia, Monique, Susana, Lorenzo Jr., Elliott, Olivia, Julian, Natalie, Miley, Isabel, Sofia, Mateo and Roberto III; and his siblings, Antonio, Venancio, Herminio and Consuelo Alvarez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
