He is survived by: his wife Linda Mulka-Mattson; his children, Melissa Stevens (Jeremy), Phillip Emerson (Dawn) and Melanie Emerson (Phillip); his grandchildren, Audrey, Hannah Stevens, Kaitlynn Perfect, Alex and Morgan Emerson; and his sister Julie Sheren.
