She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Jacobs (Ayriss) and Berne Jacobs; her brother Berne "Jack" Jacobs, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Jo Jacobs. She is survived by: her husband John C. Smith; her children, Eric Swenor (Heidi) and Jennifer Swenor; her stepchildren, Kelly Milotay (Mark) and Martin Smith; her grandchildren, Jared, Spencer, Parker Goodrich, Afton, Hayden, Breton, Garland and Ayriss Swenor; her stepgrandchildren, Akiva, Benjy, Mia and Asher Milotay; her great grandchild Sylvie Goodrich; and her sibling's children, Katie (Judy), Becky Jacobs and Scott Jacobs (Amy).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Northmen Den, the Manna "Food 4 Kids" Backpack Program, the Friends of the Petoskey District Library, the Little Traverse Choral Society, and the American Cancer Society are welcome.
