He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Schmoldt and Carrie Schmoldt (Taylor); his children, John Schmoldt (Barb Comstock) of Manitowoc, WI., Carol Francis (Bart) of Petoskey, Rick Schmoldt (Melissa) of Alanson and Linda Cole (Kerry) of Petoskey; his grandchildren, Josh Schmoldt (Kristina), Nick Schmoldt, Evan Schmoldt, Casey Francis, Brianne Stokes (Kyle), Annie Cutshall (Jake), Kayla Cole and Jenna Cole; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Brooklyn and Lucas Stokes; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Schmoldt, Virginia Mieler, Leona Elya and Eleanor Wilhelm; his brother Robert; his grandson Tyler Cole; and his wife Jeanette. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
