He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Licht and Maria Licht (Bergman); his daughter Brenda; his granddaughter Kaylee Rae; and his siblings, Edwin, Frieda, Dorothy and Gertrude.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Spomer of Sebewaing; his sons, Alan (Peggy) of Pigeon, David (Sherry) of Florida and Michael (Sally) of Troy; his grandchildren, Nathan (Jessica), Andrew (Angela), Jordan (Katie), Kendra (Kenny), Justin (Rebecca) and Laecoln (Warren); and his great grandchildren, Maeson, Kloei, Shyann, Avah, Boden, Hoyt, Dani, Colton, Griffin, Taylor, Aubrey and Brooks.

Memorials may be made Cross Lutheran Church, Cross Lutheran School or Laker Archery.
