We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2025, at the age of 79, Daniel Fred Shauger (Brighton, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Shauger and Loretta Shauger (Krzewinski); his in-law Marguerite Militello; his aunt Gertrude Campau; and his brothers-in-law, Julius Remenar and James Militello.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Shauger; his daughters, Michelle Shauger-Tuczak (Edward) and Stephanie Alessi (Michael); his grandchildren, Hunter Alessi, Cecilia Tuczak and Amelia Tuczak; his siblings, James Shauger, Allen Shauger and Joyce Crawford; and his in-laws, Margaret Remenar, Teresa Wyma (Bob), Trudy Avila (Lee), Fred Militello, Dominic Militello (Cari), Joseph Militello, Jeanmarie Hagan, Rosemarie Spencer (James) and Felix Militello (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Stroke Association or St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter, Michigan.
