He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Sutton; and his brothers, Edward (Rosie), Frank (Libby) and Leonard Chalupa (Alice). He is survived by: his brother Edwin Chalupa (Shirley) of Sargent, Neb; and his sister-in-law Anne Sutton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn, Michigan.
