With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Blackwell (Pinconning, Michigan), born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2019 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rapelje and Cecelia Rapelje (LaFountain); her spouse Barnaby Blackwell; her son Brian Blackwell; her grandson Timothy Blackwell; her great grandchild Mackenzie Laporte; her siblings, Helen Ayers, Christine O'Neil, Don, Lloyd, Ken and Merril Rapelje; and her siblings-in-law, Hazen Vink, Bill Ayers, John "Jack" O'Neil and Marlene Rapelje.
She is survived by: her children, Dick (Barb), Craig (Sandy), Steve (Wendy) and Kathleen Blackwell; and her sister Virginia Vink. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren.
