It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob T. Gotfryd of Pinconning, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gotfryd and Emily Gotfryd; his brother Carl; and his sisters-in-law, Irene and Shirley Gotfryd.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Gotfryd; his children, Rose Smith (Scott), James Gotfryd and Grace Gotfryd; his grandchildren, Jillian Smith (Rodrigo Berganza), Sean Smith, Ultan and Bodie; his brother Don; his brother-in-law Haven Ahearn (Ruth); and his close friends, Don Galloner and Ron Sivik. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces & nephews.
