She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Heffner and Laura Heffner (Bradshaw); her son Michael Bartholomew; and her siblings, Charles, George, Gordon Heffner, Hazel Sibbersen and Doris Daniels.

She is survived by: her children, William Pilleer, II, Joseph Piller, Susan Dickens, Linda Truman, Donna Bartholomew and Patricia Greene. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
