She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Loedeman and Reca Loedeman (Veldher); her husband Leonard Thompson; and her siblings, Gerald Loedeman (Jeanette), Harold Loedeman (Twila), Mary Loedeman (Alfred) and Betty Bryer (Neil).

She is survived by: her close friends, Ted and Evelyn Campbell of Plainwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
