He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Thomas Belt and Marian Belt; his wife Linda Weinacht; his children, Kim Veldheer (Craig), Ken Belt (Jodi) and Gordon Belt (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jeff Sarata (Andrea), Joy Paul (Eric), Scott Sarata (Lindsay), Cortland Belt (Sara), Kendra Zieman (Nick), Michael Belt, Amanda Belt, Grace Whitney (Zachary) and Holly Reed; and his sisters, Shirley Hammermeister (Leonard), Marge Morford (Mel) and Katherine Switzer (William). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and many life-long friends.
