It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Beth Thayer (Pleasant Lake, Michigan), who passed away on January 31, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elton Bauer and Ruth Bauer; and her husband John Thayer. She is survived by : her children, Kimberly M. Russ and Tony A. Cieslak; her grandchildren, Kaci M Mayo, Amanda B. Meyer (Joey), Dale D. Mayo III, Tristan J. Russ, Jesse Thayer, Caleb Thayer and Alissa Thayer; her great grandchildren, Hanna B. Meyer and Miya B. Meyer; her brother Phillip Bauer (Susie); and her close friend Mary Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the family to help with final expenses.
