It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Carroll (Pleasant Ridge, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Barsky and Lucy Barsky; her husband Bruce Carroll; and her brother Cyril Barsky. She is survived by : her daughters, Sharlene Borke (Thomas) and Dawn Ostach (Mike); her grandchildren, Debbi Gischia (Jeff), Tommy, Jonathan (Polina), Stephen (Carol), Matthew Borke, Michael Ostach and Christy Huver (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Ribekah, Daniel, Rachel, Gabriel Gischia, Cody, Colton, Ellie, Emilie, Zachary Borke, Taylor Kirsch, Scarlett Jade Costa and Theodore Huver; and her great great grandchild Lucas Gischia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the family for distribution to the several Russian Orthodox Church Communities in the area.
