He is survived by: his spouse Jaleh; and his children, Afshin, Ramin (Anamika) and Farzin (Nahid). He is also survived by two brothers and was predeceased by six brothers and one sister.
The family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Penrickton Center for Blind Children in Mahmood's name.
