She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Thomson and Evelyn "Joan" Thomson; her husband Robert E. Strauss; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Smith and Jacob Chavarria.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi Gervais (Edward), Sarah James (Jay) and Cheryl Bolduc (Kevin); her grandchildren, Monica Cortez (Louis), Chelsey Martus (Keegan), Curtis Chavarria (Ashley), Nathan Chavarria (Shamyah), Justin Chavarria, Davonta Frierson, Sierra Frierson, Marissa Frierson, Jayla James, Shianne Bolduc, Jayden Bolduc and Savana Bolduc; and her siblings, Sally Sarka (Charlie), John Thomson (Sarah) and Danny Thomson (Chris). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1990 River Rd, St Clair, MI 48079). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
