He was predeceased by: his parents, William Comfort and Lillian Comfort (Lynn); his siblings, William II, Vivian, Robert, Donna, Lucielle, Jack and Theodore; his wife Marcella Comfort; and his son Kevin Comfort.
He is survived by: his former wife Alice Comfort; his sons, Kirk L. Comfort and Harlan Comfort (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Katherine Hill (Robert) and Jake Comfort (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Levi Hill, Cassidy Comfort, Lilly Hill, Jaxon Comfort and Luke Hill; his stepchildren, Donald Samson and Annette Sampson; and his sister Maryann Stockwell. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Township Hall (Tower Hall) (9511 M-68, Onaway, MI 49765).
