It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A Atkinson of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth A Atkinson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Moutox; her siblings, Judith Bouverette and John "Butch" Gustincic; her aunt Irene Patterson; and her cousin Jerry Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Ardelle Kingsbury (Larry MacDonald), Cheryl Hilgendorf, David "Joe" Kingsbury (Kelly Thomason), Judi Stone (Rick Woolman) and Gene Stone (Leslie); her grandchildren, Brenda Gage (Tim), David Hale (Amber), Kerry Jo Lee, A. J. Stone (Dominique), David Kingsbury, Vivian Stone, Holli Stone (T. J. Liniarski), Jade-Alan, Jared, Jordan-Rose, Josalan Hilbec, Corey, Keaton, Claire, Claudia Woolman, Catie Snyder, Tyler, Tanton Stone, Chris Simpson and Breanna Loxton; her stepchildren, Michelle Reyes (Victor) and Eugene Atkinson (Teresa); her stepgrandchildren, Brendan, Dylan Reyes and Kaitlyn Atkinson; her cousin Jimmy Patterson; and her son Raymond Stone. She is also survived by many great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others. A private family service will follow at 7:30 p. m. Ruth's son, Raymond Stone will officiate. All are welcome to attend the graveside committal service at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
Pallbearers will be Ruth's grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
