She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Carlson and Maude Carlson (Phetzing); her husband William V. Maitland; her daughter Marcy Owens; and her sister Deloris.

She is survived by : her son Bill Maitland of Prudenville; her grandchildren, Erica, Ashley, Kallie and Kasey; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Aleana, Angelee, Lexxus, Jacob, William and Remington.
