She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Bolger and Julie Bolger (Lackner); her husband George M. Zirkle; her sons, George "Skip" Zirkle and Fred Zirkle; and her granddaughter Jamie Harig.

She is survived by : her son William Zirkle (Elaine McKay) of Rapid City; and her daughter-in-law Ruth Zirkle of Rapid City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two and one on the way great-great grandchildren.
