She was predeceased by : her parents, William Alcock and LaVerne Alcock (Duffy). She is survived by : her spouse Macklyn Pifer; her sons, James Pifer of Hillsdale and Jeffrey Pifer (Kathryn) of Reading; and her siblings, Marg Keller (Howard) of Sand Creek, Shirley Treat (Richard) of Adrian, Cathy West of Las Vegas, NV, Dick Alcock (Judy) of Florida and Donald Alcock (Laura) of Sand Creek. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association or the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility.
