He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Gruber and Gwendolyn Gruber (Herring); and his sister Elizabeth Robbins. He is survived by : his former life partner Bonnie Mertaugh (Patrick); his nephew Tim Robbins (Sue); and his niece Ann Papais.
