He was predeceased by : his parents, George Pontz and Zetta Pontz; and his siblings, Dorothy Leach (Pontz), Robert, Harold and Alan Pontz.
He is survived by : his former life partner Gertie Thiel; his wife Gertie Pontz; his children, David Pontz (Terri), Debbie Sharp (Larry), Randy Pontz (Jeane) and Jeff Pontz (Shelly); his grandchildren, Johnell Deline (Tom), Emberly Babcock (Randall), Greg Hurdle, Lori Hurdle, Mandy Fitzgerald (Kyle), Gerry Pontz (Macie Battle), Jimmy Burch (Lisa), Jill Coon (Chris), Bryan Pontz (Bobbi), Justin Crabb (Ginnie) and Ashley Crabb; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Danica, Corbin, Allison, Parker, Jayden, Branden, Trevor, Alianna, Mike Burch (Bonny Scott), Kenny Burch (Alison), Miranda Moore (Mike), Camden, Cason, Bella, Boone and Emmitt.
