In the sacred silence of farewell, Carolyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband James Scharret; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by: her siblings, Twighla Juszak, Velva Salacinski (late Roy), Heather Sprague (Rich), Fred Varner and Evan Varner (Patti). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Crooks (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (17029 W 13 Mile Rd, Beverly Hills, MI 48076).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Elizabeth Scharret Memorial Scholarship at Mercy High School.
