It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ann Andrews of Rochester Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean Ann had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Marvin Weldon Andrews; and her children, Connie Jean Atallah (Paul), Ann Marie Prano (Frank), Karen Marion DiFilippo (Dan), Sharon Marlene Andrews and Marvin Weldon Andrews Jr. (Jacquie).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home (339 Walnut Blvd, Rochester, MI 48307). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Rochester OPC Social and Activity Center in Jean's honor.
