We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 71, John Lawrence Lacaria Jr. of Rochester Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John L. Lacaria, Sr. and Leona Mae (Black); his wife Judi; his stepchildren, David Merrill (Heather) and Kristin Ashburn (Ken); and his grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Alexis, Dylan, Evan and Nora.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Clawson, MI 48017). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at the Christ Lutheran Church (749 W 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Spirit of Christ Church for the Beacon of Hope food pantry (https://spiritofchristclawson.org) or Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan a cause close to John's heart.
