He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Byrd and Helen Byrd; and his brother-in-law Greg Knoblock. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo [Francis] Byrd; his children, Scott Martin Byrd, Michael John Byrd [Michele], David Roger Byrd [Johanna], Julie Anne Byrd and Emily D'Agostini; his grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth, Emily Christine, Edith Helen, Charlotte Rose, David Phillipe Roger and Benjamin Roger; his sisters, Marilyn Brzys [Chester] and Nancy Knoblock; and his sister-in-law Anne Young (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family is requesting any donations be sent to the Rochester Rotary, The Capuchin Soup Kitchen or The Neighborhood House of Rochester.
