He is survived by: his wife Linda (Hampel); his children, David Burger (J. J.), Diana Brown (Charles Jr.), Derek Burger (Betsy) and Dawn Dafoe (Travis); his mother-in-law Betty Hampel; his grandchildren, Nolan, Gabriel, Zoe and Willard; his siblings, Jean Bakos (late Michael) and Kenneth Burger (Kathi); and his siblings-in-law, Fred Hampel (Teresa), Lurene Fisher (John), Richard Hampel (Karen), Patricia Hampel, Kenneth Hampel (Karen) and Marsha Hampel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
