She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Hartz and Elcie Hartz (Krietschmar); her husband Jared Freeman Jr.; her sister Virginia Prince (late Robert); and her nephew David Wessenauer.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Misty), Jeffrey (Annette) and Jared III (Alexis); her grandchildren, Megan, Connor, Madison Metcalf (Brandon), Austin, Marlee, Macee and Makenna; and her niece Dawn Rodriguez (Alex).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
