He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rise and Virginia Rise (Tyroler); and his former wife Sandra Rise (Clemence). He is survived by: his wife Judi Trombley; his pet Ava; his daughter Dr. Jennifer Rise (Daniel Shogren D. O.); his stepchildren, Jordon Geiger (Doug), Jenifer Trombley and Benjamin Trombley; his grandchildren, Tristan and Ian; his stepgrandchildren, Henry, Ellis, Theodore, Adam and Selah; his brother Jon Rise; and his niece Kathryn Rise (Reginald Humpheries).
