She was predeceased by : her brother James Rice. She is survived by : her mother Noreen Rice; her spouse Eddie L. Burden, Jr.; her children, Katrina Marie Burden, Jessica Alto Barley (David), Angela Starr Groot (David), Jamie Anne Jackson and Jaclyn Alexandra Jackson; and her sister Tami Rice. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
