It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry W. Oetman (Rockford, Michigan), who passed away on May 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Viva Oetman and Clarence Oetman; his child Major David Oetman (Erika); his brother LaVern Oetman; and his nephew David Lee Oetman.
He is survived by: his spouse Illene Ballay; his children, Debi Kraft (Chris) of Chesterfield, MI, Mike Oetman (Donna) of Rockford, MI, Kathy Rockwood (Jon) of Muskegon, MI and Joni VanNieuwenhuyzen (John) of Shelbyville, MI.; and his sisters, Janet Lamb and Marlene Wearne of Plainwell, MI.. He is also survived by Grandpa Jerry was also adored by 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Allegan County 4-H or Wings of Hope Hospice.
