He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Stump and Ivy Alice Kelley Stump (Kelley); and his siblings, Wesley Stump and Irene Benson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Stump; his children, John A. Stump (Barb) and Joleen Fleese (Doug); his grandchildren, Christopher Stump (Rachel), Stephanie Bouwkamp (Nathan), Samantha Dellinger (Brandon) and Douglas W. Fleese (Holly Mrozinski); his great grandchildren, Blake, Dylan, Carter Stump, Michael and Madelyn Dellinger; his siblings-in-law, Della Reed and Leon Uplinger (Anita); and his pet Buster. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pederson Funeral Home (127 N Monroe St, Rockford, MI 49341). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cedar Springs Future Farmers of America, Cedar Springs Junior Baseball, or Cedar Creek Community Church.
