He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Burkholder and Ruth Burkholder; his parents-in-law, Carl and Lorraine Meyerholtz; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Burkholder, Patricia Fricke, Diana Meyerholtz, Deborah Meyerholtz, Michael Jollands, Timothy Meyerholtz, Richard Meyerholtz, Paul Meyerholtz and David Meyerholtz.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Burkholder; his daughter Melissa Burkholder-White; his son-in-law Cory White of Chicago, IL; his daughter Katherine Burkholder of Rockford, MI; his pet Barry Sanders White; his siblings, Pat (Cheri Burkholder), Donald (Karen Burkholder), James (Sara Burkholder), John Burkholder, Charles Burkholder, Brenda (Tom Zerance), Terese (Phil Vargaz), Julie (Tommy Jones), Mary Kukla and Peggy (Bob Rasch); his parents-in-law, Ron, Sue Meyerholtz, Peter Meyerholtz, Laurie Meyerholtz, Beth, Don Lewis, Mark and Diane Meyerholtz; his grandchildren, Ryan, Mason, Zoey and Sierra Meyerholtz; and his close friends, Ron, Ann Nicewander, Hal and Sharon VanderVoord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
