With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Janet Mayer (Roscommon, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hakalow and Mary Hakalow (Stecko); her husband Harold Mayer; and her sisters, Irene, Eugenia and Dolores.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Witt (Jim) of Roscommon; her grandsons, Stephen Witt (Amanda) of Roscommon and Patrick Witt (Kara) of Roscommon; her great grandchildren, Travis and Abigale; and her sister Christine Bennett (Bill) of St. Helen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to the American Diabetes Association.
