It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Elise Forshey of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her sister Kathryn Forshey. She is survived by: her parents, Brian Bruce Forshey and Jennifer Park Forshey of Varnville, SC; and her siblings, Rebekah Forshey Troutman (Duane) of Trenton, SC and John Forshey (Brittany) of Calhoun, GA. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home (300 Mulberry St W, Hampton, SC 29924).
