It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Brkljacic of Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Dragica; his children, Matilda Benda (late George) of Royal Oak, Mira Mataija (Milan) of Windsor and Ontario; his grandchildren, Tina Bennett (Wyndham) of Melbourne, Tanja Figueroa (Marcos) of Los Angeles and Andrea LaFerle (Nathan) of Ann Arbor, Michigan.; and his great grandchildren, Marko, Maia and William.

Due to the pandemic, services will be held in a private setting.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Lucy Croatian Catholic Church, 200 E. Wattles, Troy, MI 48085.
