He was predeceased by : his parent Joaquina Barsenas; his grandmother Donasiana Castanon; and his sister Josefina Elizalde (Johnny). He is survived by : his wife Candelaria Barsenas (Connie Ruiz); his children, Theodore Barsenas (JoAnne) of California, Alicia Amaro (Johnny) of Saginaw, Anthony Barsenas (Nora) of Saginaw, Angela Vasquez (Fred) of Essexville and Joaquina Barsenas (Mario Benavides) of Saginaw; his close friends, Mark Perry and Keith Foley; and his siblings, Esther Fulgencio, Lucy Craig and Rick Sanchez (Clara). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many special Godchildren.
