He was predeceased by: his father Robert C. Thomas; and his cousin Mark Emery. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Thomas (Emery); his spouse Shelly J. Vernon; his daughters, Faith Elizabeth and Isabella Faye; his siblings, Terri Wilson (Larry) of Rhodes, MI, Debra Thomas (Dennis Beach) of Burt, MI and Gary Thomas (Laura) of Phoenix, AZ; and his close friends, John and Tonya Reid.
