Patricia A. Daniel Obituary
Patricia A. "Pat" Daniel, a cherished soul known for her passionate, loving, and thoughtful nature, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at Saginaw Covenant Health. Born on August 25, 1951, in Bay County, she was the beloved daughter of Harold and Adelaide (LaLonde) LaBean. Pat's warm presence and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Pat's life was a testament to her dedication to caring for others. After earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Delta College, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a registered nurse. Her professional journey led her through several hospitals and health services, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and expertise. Before retiring, Pat extended her care to the community through home health services, ensuring those in need received the support and comfort they deserved.
Family was the cornerstone of Pat's life. She is survived by her devoted partner of 18 years, Chuck Kretschmer, who stood by her side in love and companionship. Pat's legacy lives on through her siblings, Bob LaBean, Kathy (Joe) Toft, and Joe (Carla) LaBean; her children, Joe (Keiko) Daniel, Misty Wright, and Shawn (Jennifer) Daniel; her cherished grandchildren, Alexandra (Justin) Jasman, Michael VanSumeren, Nicole Daniel, and Zach Daniel; and her adored great-granddaughter, Charlotte Jasman. Each of them will carry forward her spirit of kindness and generosity.
A lifelong learner and an avid reader, Pat found joy in the company of her book club friends, where lively discussions and shared stories enriched her life. Her creative hands were rarely still, as she took pleasure in knitting socks, blankets, and scarves, each stitch infused with love for the recipient. Pat's interests extended beyond the pages of books and the warmth of yarn; she relished traveling, embarking on cruises, and cherishing moments with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Pat's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the love she shared will continue to resonate with all who knew her. Her passion for life, her loving heart, and her thoughtful deeds have left an indelible mark on the world, and her spirit will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends. Pat's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with care, compassion, and love—a true reflection of the remarkable woman she was.
