We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 84, Ann Marie Verkest of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ann Marie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ann Marie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mortier and Marguerite Mortier; and her husband Ronald Verkest. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Ann Dwyer (Timothy Dwyer) and Lisa Marie Caretti (Joseph Caretti); and her grandchildren, Richard, Marguerite and Joseph.
