He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Deaver and Louise Deaver (Utt); his son Winston Deaver; his brothers, Edward Deaver and James Deaver; and his sister-in-law Violet Deaver.
He is survived by: his wife Belle; his children, Carolyn Rau (Robert) of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Charlotte Deaver of Brooklyn, Lucas Deaver of New Rochelle and Katherine Ziquin of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; his stepchildren, Catherine Knoth of Maine and Paul David Lawson (Duffy) of Claremont, California; his sister Elisabeth Archambault; his sister-in-law Carol Deaver of Escondido, California; his grandchildren, Elizabth Kosel, Robert F. Rau, Nicholas Rau, Benjamin Deaver and Boethius Lawson; and his great grandchild Natalie Grace Kosel.
