He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Belonga and Elsie Belonga (Sorenson); his daughter Lisa Mary; and his siblings, Jack Belonga, Kenneth Belonga, Molly Chartrand and Sally Benjamin.
He is survived by: his wife Ann MacDonald; his children, William "Billy" Belonga of St. Ignace, James Belonga (Corina) of Raleigh, Sherry Ann Kizer of Casselberry and Catherine Fenlon of Lake Leelanau, Michigan; and his siblings, Larry Belonga (Linda) of St. Ignace, Eugene Belonga of Tacoma, Washington and Nancy Fuser of St. Ignace. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
