He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert K., Sr. and Maitland Gast (Piper); his wife Jane; and his siblings, George Gast, Florence Gast and Mickey Thomas.
He is survived by : his daughters, Margy Gast (Barb), Karla Vernasco (Mike), Betsy Thorrez (Mick), Mary Rembowicz (Tom) and Andie Gast (Sue). He is also survived by grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
