She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Mahaffey and Mary "Bessy" Mahaffey (McKinney); her husband Harold D. McGee; and her son Daniel (Mary). She is survived by : her children, Steven McGee and Susan Dean; her grandchildren, Sarah Sulka (Benjamin), Rachel Shaia (Paul) and Stephen Dean (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Aiden Damouth, Elliana Sulka, Jordan, Adam and Cameron Shaia.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
