It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Hoenighausen (Sandusky, Michigan), who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Hutchinson and MaryJane Hutchinson (Friend); her husband George; her son Gregory Hoenighausen; and her daughter-in-law Jamie Hoenighausen (Freleigh).

She is survived by : her children, Art Hoenighausen (Pat), Norman Hoenighausen (Lola), Francis Hoenighausen (Mary Jo), Bob Hoenighausen and Betty Dennis (Scott). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Countryside Free Methodist Church (912 Sanilac Rd, Sandusky, MI 48471). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations towards a memorial tree at the Diamond Trail.
