He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Downing and Mildred Downing (Foster); his daughter Jennifer Hyde (Downing); and his stepmother June Downing. He is survived by: his wife Karen Albrecht; his son Jeff Downing (Anna); his grandchildren, Katie Moses (Josh) and Jacob Downing; his great grandchild Adelynne Hope Moses; his siblings, Richard Downing (Cora Lou), Burt Downing (Lynne) and Peggy Huton; and his close friend Dick Gettel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
