He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Root and Lilian Root (Belcevich); and his brothers, Harold and Paul Root. He is survived by : his wife June Root; his sons, James Root and Keith Root; his grandchildren, Jason and Brooke; and his sister Mildred.
