He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Bernard Buiting and Elizabeth Catherine Buiting (Brifneck); his daughter Andrea Hittepole; and his siblings, Joan, Alice, Joseph, Louise, Henry and Peter.
He is survived by : his friend Billy; his daughters, Suzanne Shagena (Douglas) and Terese Shell (Jeffrey); his son-in-law Neal Hittepole; his grandchildren, Bryan Shagena, Karlee Pattullo (Tyler), Courtney Hittepole, Alexander and Mitchell Shell; his great grandchild Stephen Shagena; and his sibling Elanor Downey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
